Attended a fabulous techniques workshop last weekend with MaryBeth Shaw! This was my favorite technique!
After I got home I just played and played. I actually already had all the supplies. Don't you love when that happens! :)
I tried a variety of glossyish' texture pastes.
Here are some photos of the beautiful people and fun we had! Check out MaryBeth's workshop page to find out where she's teaching. I just love her classes!
This is my creative space before the painting began.
Me, MaryBeth and Marge (my dear friend to introduced me to stamping, which got all my art juices flowing again!) You can tell how much fun I'm having by how messy my hair is. hehehe

Isn't this the cutest photo of MaryBeth and Mary?! Their joy captures the day (photo credit LisaD).
This is our row - me, Mary, Lisa, and Parking lot Patty. Patty is such a sweetie. She was giving directions to the workshop from the parking lot, so she was affectionately named Parking lot Patty (photo credit LisaD-Marge is the photographer)
Here's my cool flip journal that MaryBeth showed us how to make, which holds the samples of the techniques we learned. Marge is in the background thinking about what to do next. You can see her creative juices flowing and her fabulous, bright journal. Oh, what fun we all had!
Visit Mary's post to see more workshop photos and also see her gorgeous artwork!
