A couple weeks ago my daughter and I packed up the car and drove to Marybeth's studio!
In January, I read that she and Seth were teaching a workshop in St. Louis in May.
I started stalking Seth's blog to find out how to register. I even set up a calendar entry to remind me each week - that's the project manager in me. hehehe. I didn't need to see a description - I already knew I wanted it in. I told my daughter about it and we saved the date, claiming we had a spot. We got in! Mary Beth, Seth, and Julie (artist who shares studio space with Mary Beth) provided a warm, inviting and creative environment for the students. I had a surprise in that I got to meet my facebook friend Mary - mixed media artist and also Stencilgirl designer!
We had a fabulous time! While in the area, we saw some local sites and also visited Sherry Salant's gallery store and picked up a few beautiful prints. Had fun visiting with her and Bob - one of many fabulous artists featured at the store.
