I made this card for a lovely young couple getting married this month. When I received the invitation to the wedding, I knew I wanted to use this fabulous Cloisonne' Heart stamp by Michael Strong. I found the perfect background paper at my local stamp & scrapbook store. The steps are simple to create a lovely heartfelt card.
- Ink up the image with craft white, stamp on silver metallic, sprinkle with white emboss powder and heat set.
- Cut out the heart shape.
- Cut design paper layer to fit 1/8" smaller than A2 size and adhere to metallic A2 size layer. Adhere metallic layer to white base card.
- Adhere the heart.
- Use a glue pen to draw a line around the boarder of the heart over the embossed image and in areas where you want to show some bling. Sprinkle glitter and shake off access.
- On the inside, ink up the image with silver and stamp only part of it in a corner for a nice surprise when the card is opened.
