Here's a idea for a little gift basket that will warm the heart of the recipient. As I'm still hooked on warm memories from Michelle's class, I'm brayering again. ;o)
Note: while you are brayering the basket, also ink up and brayer the card with the same directions.
- Mask the bottom of the basket about 2/3 down from the handle. Starting at the top, brayer lightly with apricot ink.
- Place a circle mask in sky for the sun.
- Brayer about 1/2 way down over the apricot with rust - lightly. NOTE: By brayering lightly, you decrease your chances of getting hard lines and you get that nice blended effect.
- Remove both masks. Use two shades of blue ink to add color for the water. Using the direct to paper technique, lightly run ink pad across paper.
- Next use the same direct to paper technique to add sand with brown ink.
- Using the various ink pads, stamp the palm randomly onto tissue paper.
- Ink up each tree image with black ink and stamp onto sticker paper
- Color images blending two or more markers from the same color family into an area.
- Cut out each image.
- Remove sticker backing and place onto basket and mini card. Add green dots with marker around base of each tree.
- Fold the basket together and use adhesive to hold it together.
