As part of celebrating Women's History Month, Marge, Darlene and I have put together a card making session for our colleagues to make cards to send to seriously ill and injured children. The Los Angeles Children's Hospital has a program to accept cards to cheer up their patients. Click here to find out more about it. The idea for an Arts & Crafts activity actually came from another colleague of ours, Vickie (who probably has a thousand rubber stamps in her basement, but has not made a card in a while --- come on Vickie - get stampin'! :o)]. It was my husbands idea to make the cards for a charity. This has truly been a team effort!
- For each image I colored directly on the image with markers, blending two colors.
- After punching out the image, I added a splash of color around the edge by running the marker around it.
- The words are handwritten.
