Are you familiar with kissing - stamp kissing that is? :o)
This white base card is 5 ¼” square. Each layer is approximately ¼” smaller.- Ink up the tree image with dark green ink. Ink up the snowflake image with watermark ink and “kiss it” on top of the green inked image. Stamp the tree image onto white card stock. This will give a subtle image of the snowflake onto the green tree. Clean the stamp.
- Repeat this process with two colors – Ink up the tree image with light green ink. Ink up the snowflake image with dark green ink and “kiss it” on top of the light green inked image. Stamp the tree image to the side of your first image.
- Repeat the inking and kissing process in step 2 and stamp on the other side of your first image.
- Stamp the star image three times gold ink onto white card stock, reinking in between stamping. Allow to dry. Use star punch to punch out star images. For each star, use a sponge dauber to pick up a little gold ink and sponge lightly. Adhere a star on top of each tree.
- Cut around trees to the desired size. Lay cloud template over sky and use sponge dauber to lightly add clouds. Tear a piece of scrap paper and use the same technique to add snow to the ground. TIP: tap off some of the ink before using the dauber on the paper. Always start on the template or paper and move sponge onto card stock.
- Cut light green layer ¼” larger than your image layer.
- Cut two pieces of complementary design paper to equal 5” square with a little overlap. Lay the ribbon over the area where the papers meet. Wrap the ribbon around and tape. Adhere the design layer over gold layer and the gold layer over white base card.
- On the inside of the card, stamp a tree and use the torn paper and dauber to sponge some snow on the “ground.” ***Updated 11/19 to add photo of inside of card.
- With a gold pen, add dots to designer paper
