OOBO in California

For the next two weeks I'll be Out Of my Blog Office. I'm visiting with my daughter in Southern California. It's so much warmer than IL right now. :o)  I brought a few stamped images and some limited art supplies.   I'll share a card now and then, but will not have supplies photos like I usually do. I'll be sure to list all supplies though! 

Today, I spent the day with my friend from IL, Susan! Susan and I met at the Dick Blick ATC Live Trade Group June meeting.  We sat next to each other and she shared with that she was going to be traveling to CA in July and living there for a while. I said me too! The traveling to CA part. It was so funny -- we were both going to the same area.  We made a promise to keep in touch and that we would get together when I was out here visiting.  And here we are!  We went on a field trip to Claremont to visit Stamp Your Heart Out.

We spent over an hour in the store! Not that it's that big, but we were enjoying looking at every stamp, every example, every die cut, every embellishment, etc.... :o)  Neither one of us had been in an actual stamp "store" in so long, we were just enjoying every moment :oD (insert big smile).   After we soaked it all in, and picked up a few items, we walked around the downtown and went into all the quaint shops and boutiques.  It is such a lovely area - we really enjoyed our field trip!  If you are ever in the LA area, I highly recommend visiting the town of Claremont, and most definitely visiting their stamp store.
