Here's my first attempt at a card with Sumi-e painting. I got hooked on it when I got a demo at my ATC group earlier this month.
- Painted a tall bamboo tree and leaves on watercolor paper.
- Picked out the section I liked best and stamped Melanie's Inspiration Mosaic Image around it.
- Cut out the image.
- Stamped the sentiments in red and black.
- Adhered the layers and I'm done!
Paper: watercolor paper, Stampin' Up! basic black & real red
Inks: Stampin' Up! real red pad, Versafine Onyx Black, Yasutomo Sumi Ink black
Accessories: Sumi-e brush
Take care and STAY POSITIVE!
