I am really having fun water coloring! To the left is a picture of my homework - practicing watercolor painting for the My Creative Classroom class I took. After some great feedback from my instructor, Colleen, I practiced more and I was able to visualize a complete card. I came back to my work in progress and tried to fix it up. I knew I needed to fix those flowers - I made them too dark. I used pencil and glitter & metallic pens to lighten them to show contrast. Since the sunlight is coming from up above, I also needed to lighten the tree tops. I painted over them again and gently dabbed the excess with a paper towel, and it lighted areas. I will continue, practicing and experimenting, and having fun doing it!
